Go Green OC and Ocean Compost is proud to introduce the pizza box, the first pizza box collection receptacle in all of the county. Normally, pizza boxes take up large spaces in trash cans and cannot be recycled. These pizza boxes will be diverted to the farm and turned into healthy compost.

Go Green OC launches an educational series for participating Ocean City, Maryland restaurants.

2021

Our compost program hosted 5 Ocean City restaurants (The Hobbit, Dough Roller 70th, The Bonfire, Annabelle’s/Barrio Taco and Real Raw Organics) from April to October 2021 diverting 81,000 lbs of food waste.

The program was approved by Ocean City in July and a new for-profit businesses was created, Ocean Compost. Read more here.
